Brand new original replacement lens for Xbox 360 Benq or Liteon DVD drives, compatible with model HOP-1401 / 141X. This is the plastic cased version of the laser.

If your system has the following symptoms:

System shows a message "Disc Read Errors" or disc appeares damaged or dirty on the screen.
System reads certain games or movies.
System loads games or movies longer than normal.
System reads games or movies and seems to be freezed or skipped.

Changing to a new Xbox 360 laser lens will bring your system back to life again.

Please note that there is an anti static de-solder point on the laser which will need to be removed to enable the laser to operate.

If you look at the laser with the lens facing you will see a circuit board located to the right hand side. On the circuit board on the right hand side there is a long ivory connector, remove the blob of solder from bottom of long ivory connector, if you are looking at the laser from the right hand side the blob is to the left of the ivory connector, there is only one blob to be removed and you should easily be able to locate it.
